Agriculture is one sector that plays a very great role in the development of Africa.
It is essential for sub-Saharan Africa’s growth and for achieving the Millennium Development Goal of halving poverty by 2015.
However the growth of the sector has been bogged down by a number of challenges, among them the problem of fake seeds.
