The Electoral Commission has today finally met the Democratic Party president Norbert Mao.
Mao had petitioned the commission over his denial to be nominated after he was found missing on the national voters register.
Speaking to KFM after the meeting, the commission spokesperson Jotham Taremwa has said the interaction was good.
Without giving specific dates, the commission has promised to give Mao its final position on the matter soon.
Mao had on Tuesday given the commission a 48 hour ultimatum to resolve his matter before he could go to court.
