Kampala Capital City Authority(KCCA) has today launched East African Local Authorities Sports and Cultural association games that start today until the 4th of October.
According to KCCA Spokesperson Peter Kauju the 6th edition of the EALASCA games hosted at Namboole stadium is intended to promote the spirit of integration.
Kauju adds that some of the expected guests include Burundi’s Minister for Home Affairs, Rwanda’s minister for Local Government, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Devolution and city mayors among others.
Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan have already sent their representatives.
