Opposition Democratic Party President Nobert Mao has called for a defiance campaign condemning the injunction issued by  Deputy Chief Justice,Steven Kavuma.

According to Mao justice Kavuma acted unconstitutionally abusing the professional conduct of judges who are supposed to exercise powers judiciously without injuring public interest.

He says his injunction was unprecedented and that it prohibits democratic debate.

He adds that as a party they believe in rule of law and that they  will stand strong in defiance and thus appeal to all Ugandans  to do the same and not admit to succumb to a judicial system that is impartial and wants to divide the nation.

On Monday this week the Deputy Chief Justice Steven Kavuma issues passed an order, stopping Parliament or any individual from inquiring into the Shs6b oil cash bonanza.
