The opposition Democratic party says that although it does not totally agree with the outcome of the February general elections, it will fully participate in this week’s swearing in ceremony for the members of Parliament.

Democratic Party Vice Chairperson for Buganda region Betty Nambooze says their members will be sworn in and be part of the 10th parliament to continue challenging the NRM government.

She says this is an agreed party position and so they have no plans of boycotting the swearing in ceremony.
