The Democratic Party is gearing up for Bubuulo west parliamentary race.
According the Electoral Commission program, the bi election to replace the embattled former MP Tonny Kipoi is slated for April 10th, while the nomination exercise is set for March 24th.
Now the Democratic Party has declared Paul Butiti as their flag bearer in this race.
Speaking to the media today, the Democratic Party president Norbert Mao said they are set to fully support their candidate.
The bi election was called following parliament’s resolution to throw out Tony Kipoi after he missed 15 sitting without the speakers’ approval.
