The Opposition Democratic Party has demanded the government to produce a comprehensive communication about the cause of Speaker Jacob Oulanyah’s death.

Oulanyah was pronounced dead on Sunday in Seattle America.

While addressing the press at the party’s head offices in Kampala, the Party Publicity Secretary Okoler Opio Lo Amanu, said the government has to come out quickly with a detailed report about Oulanyah’s death that will remove the speculations surrounding his death.

Opio’s remarks follow different reports pointing at Oulanya’s death, some say he was poisoned.

DP also wants a monument raised at Parliament or a road named after Oulanyah in remembrance of his work and as a shortest-serving Speaker in this country to have died in office.
