Medical workers under their umbrella body Uganda Medical Association have revealed that it will decide on whether to suspend or continue with their ongoing strike this Saturday during their general assembly.

Addressing journalists at Mulago guest house the association president Dr Ekwaro Obuku said the national executive committee of doctors will meet this Saturday to review and consider some of the commitments and promises that have been made by the government so far regarding their demands.

He says during this general assembly, doctors will agree on the way forward.

He has meantimewarned government and indivuals threatening doctors to stop.
