The doctor accused of procuring an abortion leading to the death of a patient has been granted bail.
Dr. Moses Muhwezi appeared before Buganda road chief magistrate Olive Kazarwe and denied the charges.
He was released on a cash bail of 5million shillings while his sureties were bonded 10million not cash.
Prosecution led by Lilian Omara told court that investigations are still ongoing.
The case has now been pushed to the 30th of May for mention.
Prosecution alleges that Dr. Muhwezi led to the death of Mercy Ampairwe and her unborn child.
