David Kugonza | April 23, 2018

The Deputy Inspector Gen of Police, brig Sabiiti Muzeeyi has challenged the police to build and maintain public trust, if they are to defeat crime.

According to Brig Sabiiti, who was over the weekend addressing officers in Kampala Metropolitan, trust is the cornerstone of successful policing.

The deputy police chief says whereas this takes a great deal of continuous effort to achieve; the officers themselves need to be awake to its fact.

Brig Sabiiti until his recent transfer and promotion to deputy police chief post was the commandant of the Military Police barracks in Makindye.
