Defense Minister Dr. Crispus Kiyonga has warned The Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebels not to risk crossing over to Uganda.
The wanring follows media reports indicating that the ADF has started regrouping in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Kiyonga says the country is more than ready to fight the ADF rebels once they dare cross to Uganda.
Last week’s attack on the rebels in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo left up to four dead including a civilian.
The ADF allegedly attacked the city of Oicha north of Beni in North Kivu province bordering Uganda.
The ADF is accused of a series of attacks or massacres that have claimed more than 500 civilian lives since October 2014.
The mainly Muslim group, which first emerged in Uganda with the aim of toppling President Yoweri Museveni and setting up a hardline Islamist state, is accused of serious human rights violations.
