The Uganda Wildlife Authority is yet to receive information about the reported crocodile attacks in Namayingo district.
This follows concerns by the Resident District Commissioner Mpimbaza Hashaka over the increased attacks on residents by these reptiles.
Reports indicate that about 10 people were attacked and killed by crocodiles in the past month.
Now the Authority’s acting spokesperson Jossy Muhangi says they are equally concerned and once concrete information is received, a team will be sent to capture the crocodiles like it has been done in other troubled areas.
