Uganda Cranes will play Zimbabwe again during the 2016 African Championship finals in Rwanda after being drawn in pool D with two other opponents-Zambia and Mali.
Uganda and Zimbabwe met in 2014 CHAN Finals in South Africa and played to a goalless draw.
The same group had Morocco and Burkina Fasso.
Zimbabwe will be making their fourth appearance while Uganda is playing at the finals for the third successive time.
FUFA was represented by National Teams Officer Patrick Ntege Kaweesa at the draw held yesterday in the Rwandan capital Kigali.
Rwanda President Paul Kagame chaired the function, whilst CAF 2nd Vice President Almamy Kabele Camara led the delegation from the continent’s soccer governing body.
The final tournament of the Orange CHAN 2016 will take place from 16 January to 7 February 2016 in Rwanda.
