Controversial Dr Nyanzi arrested

Controversial Makerere University research fellow Dr Stella Nyanzi was arrested last evening and is currently detained at unknown place station for insulting the first lady also minister of education Janet Kataha Museveni.
According to the spokesperson person of Kampala metropolitan police Emilian Kayima,Nyanzi was arrested and she is ready to be arraigned in court on two counts,Cyber harassment of the computer Misuse Act of 2011 and offensive communication.
Kayima confirmed that Nyanzi is in police facilities but did not mention were she is retained and when she is appearing before court.
In different face book posts,Nyanzi attacked Ms Museveni when she appeared before Parliament and said that her ministry will not be able to buy sanitary pads for school going children because their budget was cut.
She also attacked her when she raises concerns of parents to desist from pilling their young children on Boda when transferring them to and from school.
Nyanzi has since been suspended from Makerere university over insulting the first Lady and she was expected to appear before the appointment board for disciplinary actions to be taken against her at a later date.
