Kampala City Hall Court has sentenced three men to five years imprisonment in Luzira prison after finding them guilty of stealing Buganda Road Court Chief magistrate’s car.

Ssenoga Fred, Hamidu Kalyango and Mustafa Bashir have  also been convicted of  conspiring with  magistrate Flavia Nabakooza’s  driver; Godwin Batte to  steal her Toyota Noah in November last year.

These have appeared before Grade one magistrate Elias Kakooza .

Batte had earlier pleaded guilty before court for duplicating the car key and handed it to the accused that stole it from Kintante Hill school parking and drove it to DR. Congo from where it was recovered with most spare parts removed.

The accused have also been ordered to pay 24 Million shillings to the magistrate as compensation for her car.
