CID to be overhauled.

The Uganda Police Force has now embarked on overhauling the criminal investigation system as step towards restoring sanity and efficiency in the force.
The move comes barely a week after the police chief Gen Kale Kayihura transferred over 70 senior police officers.
Kayihura says the police leadership starting from regional police commanders and divisional police commanders have been redeployed accordingly, so the focus will now on officers in charge of criminal investigations and the traffic department.
