Three judges of the High Court Kampala have upheld the decision to dismiss Lira chief magistrate court Joshua Baluku.
The panel led by Justice Elizabeth Musoke dismissed Baluku’s appeal challenging the decision of the judicial service commission made in April 2013.
Baluku was dismissed from the judiciary due to his failure to write judgements pertaining cases before Lira chief magistrate’s court.
The judges also ruled that the penalty given to his worship Baluku by the commission was not harsh but appropriate simply because the magistrate was a repeated offender.
