While many people may be happy with the coming of the rains, cattle traders are instead worried about the same.
With most parts of the country still grappling with the effects of the the dry spell, the traders say such sudden changes in the weather make animals weak and many die during transportation.
The spokesperson of the Kampala City Abattoir Traders Association Wilberforce Mutesasira says the quality of meat is also usually affected.
He thus expresses worry that this may make meat prices shoot up in the near future.
