Buyaga West Member of Parliament Barnabas Tinkasimire remains in police custody following his arrest over reported reckless driving.
Tinkasimire was arrested by police in Kibaale last evening and is being held at Kibaale police station awaiting charges relating to violating traffic regulations.
Speaking to KFM, the deputy police spokesperson Patrick Onyango has confirmed the development, saying the legislator’s file is being studied by the State Attorney.
