Busoga NUP youth mobiliser sacked

Abubaker Kirunda | November 29, 2022

Busoga region National Unity Platform (NUP) youth mobiliser, Jamal Mukuve has been sacked for allegedly leaking party secrets to members of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.

Mukuve was sacked in a meeting chaired by the Busoga region NUP coordinator, Moses Bigirwa and later replaced by John Ngalura.

The meeting, which was held at the NUP office in Jinja town was also attended by Iganga municipal mayor, Bam Lulenzi.

Mukuve is accused of associating with Bukooli central MP, Solomon Serwanyi and Igang municipality MP, Peter Mugema Panado.

However, Mukuve denied the accusations against him, saying the person who chaired the meeting lost integrity when he was arrested trying to extort money from Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among.
