There was drama this morning when the first district workers to arrive for work at the Bushenyi district headquarters found all the four district gates locked with bicycle locks. The residents who never wanted their faces captured by the cameras said they were commanded by the leaders of the MAKE BUSHENYI GREAT AGAIN, a group that has been agitating for the district service commission. The gates were closed for about one and a half hours . It took the intervention of the deputy RDC, Mr Domian Turyatunga and DPC, Mr Damiano Katwesiime to break the locks with the help of the Bushenyi greater regional fire brigade. The leader of the Make Bushenyi Great Again group, Mr Apollo Lee KAKONGE told Daily Monitor said that he recently ordered people to do what they can to demand for service commission. “We recently told residents what they can have the service commission and they are doing what they think can help them,” said Mr KAKONGE.
