Bus owners under their umbrella body, Uganda Bus Owners Association (UBOA) have advised the government to review the process of issuing driving licenses.

They believe that stringent measures will scrutinise and deal away with fake drivers who in turn lead to road carnages claiming thousands of lives.

According to Solomon Nsiimire, the UBOA Chairperson, there are some people who access driving licenses without thorough scrutiny.

He also calls for more sensitization of the public about road usage.
