The accident, which involved a Gaga Bus that rammed into a stationary truck near Bombo Town, left at least 7 people dead.

6 of the survivors remain admitted at Mulago Hospital and they are also reported to be in good condition.

The Hospital spokesperson Dan Kimosho says they have been transferred from the causality ward to the ordinary patients’ ward, from where they will continue to be monitored.

One of the victims George Ochuli told KFM that he feels a lot better but still feels a lot of pain in his eyes.

Those discharged include Benson Ochan, George Ogwal, Bosco Odida and Shadrack Bisaso, all from Lira.
