Bukalasa Agriculture College re-opens after violent strike

Bukalasa Agriculture College in Luweero District reopens today.
The college was closed early last week following a violent students strike.
The Principle Christine Anyait said earlier that a stakeholders meeting held last week resolved that students report back today.
Anyait however did not give details on what the college has resolved regarding the students grievances.
On Monday last week students staged a strike protesting the introduction of a late registration fee of Shs 50,000 which they claimed was never indicated on the college circular at the beginning of the college semester.
