Buganda Premier warns land grabbers
Buganda premier Charles Peter Mayiga has warned Kabaka subjects against the sale of kingdom land.
Opening the Kingdom parliament at Bulange this morning, the Katikkiro cited places like Naggalabi- the kingdom’s coronation site and Wamala tombs where much of the land has been sold off under unclear circumstances.
He however says this will not continue happening under his tenure as Katikkiro.
He has also called for more transparency in management of the kingdom properties for development.
