A total of 26 boxers have started training at Lugogo ahead of a friendly Match with Kenyan counterparts slated for May 31st at the MTN Arena.

According to the publicity secretary, Uganda Boxing Federation, Fred Kavuma, the
friendly match against Kenya is meant to keep the boxers active, as they prepare for the Common Wealth games in July.

Kavuma tells KFM that they want to ensure the boxers are in a good shape before and after the
friendly as they prepare for the forthcoming competitions.

The Bombers team missed participating in this month’s African Youth championship in Botswana due to late registration.
