Earlier, the Kabale Chief Magistrates court adjourned a case of inciting violence against Dr Besigye.
Besigye is accused together with Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, and FDC’s Ingrid Turinawe.
They are accused of inciting violence back in 2012 during their 4GC rally held in Kabale stadium during the walk-to-work campaigns.
According to prosecution, the violence incited by the group led to the injuring of four police officers and damaging of three police vehicles.
The case has been adjourned to 6th June because the magistrate was not around.
Earlier Besigye was greeted by cheering supporters as they attended prayers at the party offices in Kabale.
