The Management of Bakulu coaches is yet to establish the cause of rampant accidents involving their buses.
This follows an accident that left 10 people dead and seven others injured at Nisitu Town in Nimule.
The early morning accident involved a Bakulu bus registration number UAS 201N that was heading to Juba and a Kampala-bound taxi.
Fazil Agaba the bus supervisor says they are still searching for the driver’s identified as Mzee Rashid who vanished immediately after the accident.
Earlier the Aswa Region police spokesman Jimmy Patrick Okema said they have had challenges getting more information on the identities of the deceased and survivors due to poor communication.
He however says they are exploring the possibility of sending a team to Juba hospital where the victims are.
In a separate development, tThree people died in an accident that occurred last night at Kalandazi village Mpigi district.
A truck Registration number UAQ 837W that was heading towards Lwera rammed into a Kampala-bound Toyota Spacio Registration Number UAU 341H before running over it.
One of the dead has been identified as Jimmy Sseruwagi while two others are yet to be identified.
The bodies have been taken to Gombe Hospital Mortuary.
Mpigi traffic commander Michael Duncan Ensinekweri has attributed the accident to reckless driving.
He says the truck driver is on the run and the police are hunting for him.
