Bailiffs from Trust general auctioneers this morning sealed off Uganda National roads authority offices on Sixth Street Industrial area.
They claimed that the arrears totaling to over 660million shillings had accumulated from 2009 to December 2014.
However, the Roads Authority Spokesperson Dan Alinange says the premises belong to the government and therefore the authority cannot be subjected to payment of rent.
He has dismissed the move to seal off the offices as a fraudulent attempt to grab government land.
He adds that the Uganda Land Commission is handling the matter.
