The army has denied reports that a military police vehicle knocked Francis Senteza Kalibala also known as Frank.

Frank who was one of the members of the security team of the National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi has since died.

Kyagulanyi claims that Frank was run over by a military truck at Busega roundabout in Kampala on Sunday as his convoy drove journalist Ashraf Kasirye from Masaka to Kampala for further medical attention after he was injured as police dispersed NUP supporters in Masaka.

The army spokesperson Brig General Flavia Byekwaso in a tweet said Frank fell off a speeding Car Reg No UBF 850z (Drone) he tried to jump to but fell off.
