The Archbishop of the church of Uganda, Stanley Ntagali has urged political aspirants to desist from lying to voters, saying God will judge them harshly.
Addressing Christians at Pajwenda church of Uganda in Tororo district, the archbishop noted with concern that many political aspirants are riding on lies to hoodwink voters.
His Grace Ntagali also cautioned politicians against engaging in personal attacks and instead present manifestos that can attract voters.
The Archbishop who is on a pastoral tour of Bukedi diocese, also mobilized Christians to raise funds to support the construction of the 18 storey church house, saying it will boost revenue for the church.
