Another suicide case at Mulago Hospital
Another person has committed suicide at Mulago hospital.
The deceased identified as Kenneth Muhumuza jumped to his death from the fourth floor of the hospital.
Muhumuza is said to have been battling a heart disease and tuberculosis and had spent a week at Uganda heart institute in Mulago ward 4C where he committed suicide.
The deceased’s brother Baguma Muhumuza says the patient tried to commit suicide yesterday but was restrained till this morning when he escaped and jumped off the building.
His body has been taken to the hospital mortuary and the hospital authorities are yet to comment on the matter.
This is the third person to commit suicide at Mulago hospital in a space of just one week.
