The coming election is about making Uganda work for all.
These are the words of former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi as he announces to Ugandans his bid for the presidency in the 2016 elections.
In a video posted on YouTube in which he announces, Mbabazi says next year’s elections are all about invigorating the country and making it fit for the 21st century and about breathing new life to Uganda’s system of governance, which he describes as being weak and inefficient at the moment.
He talks of the need to improve the country’s education, health and public service and ensure they are delivered fairly and to high standards.
