Am Committed To Peace- S.Sudan’s Dr Riek Machar

President Yoweri Museveni his pledged total support to any peace initiative to stabilize South Sudan.

The president was meeting with South Sudan’s opposition leader Dr. Riek Machar at Masindi State Lodge in Masindi municipality.

Dr. Riek Machar who led a 15-member delegation briefed the President on the progress and steps so far taken to fully implement the negotiated peace process in South Sudan.

President Museveni has also commended the progress so far made in bringing about peace and stability in South Sudan and the positive response of the two sides.
