President Museveni says allegations of vote buying and voter bribery in the ongoing EALA campaigns will be investigated.

Giving his closing remarks at the chaotic NRM caucus meeting, Museveni warned against use of money to rent support and tilt election results.

He said he would not tolerate such actions revealing that he has already given instructions to the security forces warning that action is to be taken against any one alleged to have given out money during the process.

Daily Monitor had earlier reported claims of vote hawking and other form of inducements as stakes were upped for the regional elections.

The NRM Parliamentary caucus that converged at State House Entebbe elected 6 flag bearers for the regional Parliament.

They are Paul Musamali, Mathias Kasamba, Mary Mugenyi, Denis Namara, Rose Akol and George Odong.
