Former Kampala Mayor Al- Hajji Nasser Ssebagala has failed to meet the requirements of the electoral commission.

Ssebagala had returned his presidential nominations but the commission officials had queries with the signatures he presented from the districts.

However Ssebagala says his team is urgently addressing the commissions concerns and he will be nominated before the end of the day.

Meanwhile 32 independent aspirants have endorsed Joseph Mabirizi to be their joint presidential candidate and he has successfully returned his forms to the commission.
