The Advocates Coalition for Development and Environment (ACODE) is today set to convene a dialogue on the evolving global security and its implications for Africa.

The event taking place in Kampala is to bring together key stakeholders, including Security Agencies academia, Members of Parliament, the African Union, African Regional Economic Communities (RECs), Development Partners among others.

The ACODE executive director Dr. Arthur Bainomugisha says the overall objective of the dialogue is to facilitate a conversation to analyze global socioeconomic, political, and security challenges and their implications for Africa.

He says it is to promote open and candid discussion on evolving global security challenges and implications for Africa which will inform policymaking and policy responses at local and regional levels.
