600 billion needed for veterans.

Government requires 600bn shillings to compensate all war survivors in Uganda.

While appeering before parliament’s foreign affairs committee, the state minister in charge of veterans Bright Rwamirama said that its incumbent upon parliament to appropriate these sums of money to them to clear this long overdue burden.

He explained that government is not only paying veterans of the 1986 war, but even those who fought in world war 11
