The Civil Aviation Authority has restricted movement of other air operators over safety issues.
This has been confirmed by the authority’s Deputy Managing Director David Mpanga.
He explains that these operators have not been grounded but have only been restricted to only flying within Uganda until they meet the required international aviation standards.
The restricted air operators are Ndege Aviation, Kampala Aero club & Flight Training Centre, Air Surf and Asante Aviation.
Earlier the authority withdrew air operator licenses of Air Uganda, Uganda Air Cargo and Transafrik following an international audit report that poked holes in their compliance with safety standards.
