4 injured in accident

Four people have sustained serious injuries after a truck rammed into several other vehicles near Bwaise, a Kampala suburb.

The Kawempe DPC Moses Ochieng says the injured that are yet to be identified have been rushed to Mulago hospital in critical condition.

He says the driver of the Fuso truck registration number UAF 713M that was headed to Bwaise from Kawempe lost control knocking a taxi before ramming into a string of nine other vehicles near Tuff Form factory.

He says the truck then knocked a Kerosene pump at Petrol Fuel Station before it came to a halt.

Ochieng adds that they are still hunting for the truck driver who is on the run.
