2teachers killed in hit and run accident

Two head teachers were this morning killed in a hit and run accident in a hit and run accident along the Northern bypass.

The early morning accident occurred close to the Kisasi round about and involved an unknown vehicle that knocked the two people on a motor cycle, before speeding off.

The deceased have been identified Justine Opio head teacher at Kyengera Parents primary school and Mark Othieno of Fairway Primary School Kireka.

The two were travelling on a motor cycle registration number UDL 418Z and died on spot.

The police Deputy Spokesperson Vincent Ssekate says they are hunting for the vehicle, though its particulars remain unknown.

He says the bodies of the deceased have been taken to the city mortuary.
