The Ministry of Education is set to recruit 2000 technical instructors to work in the recently constructed technical and vocational schools.
This comes at the time when government is flagging off the new project of skilling Uganda which mainly emphasizes hands on training approach of teaching.
According to the state minister for education Jessica Alupo, so far 25 technical and vocational institutes have been established in Uganda.
He explained that the ministry is however still engaging government to work upon their wage bill.
