The defense minister Dr. Crispus Kiyonga has accused the former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi of polluting the minds of Ugandans.

Speaking during the fund raising drive at Namwendya Catholic Church in Tororo district, Dr. Kiyonga said Mbabazi has no moral authority to criticize the government he has served for such a long time.
He appealed to residents not to associate with such leaders who he branded hypocrites.

Dr. Kiyonga said the former prime minister is among the leaders who don’t have any agenda for this country and this could have been one of the reasons for his demotion.

Mbabazi last week declared that he would to run as an independent presidential candidate in next year’s election citing irregularities in the NRM electoral process
