15 Year Old Charged For Aggravated Robbery of One Kilogram of Sugar

A 15years old boy has been charged and remanded to Naguru remand home for aggravated robbery of one kilogram of sugar using a knife.

The juvenile has been charged before City Hall Court grade one magistrate Moses Nabende who did not allow him to plead to the charges, saying it is a capital offense only tried by the High Court.

Prosecution states that the suspect and others still at large on May 5th 2015 at Contafrica zone in Kamwokya robbed one a Justine Namusisi of her hand bag containing one kilogram of sugar and a phone with a help of a knife.

The magistrate remanded him to Naguru remand home until May 19th when he will re-appear.
