At least twelve people have been severely injured in an accident that occurred along the Gulu-Atiak road when the bus they were travelling in overturned.
The Kampala bound bus from Adjumani district, belonging to Friendship Bus Company registration number UAU 708 B, had 35 passengers on board when it over turned at Gulu Primary School in Bardege.
Aswa regional police Spokesperson Jimmy Patrick Okema has confirmed the incident attributing it to reckless driving.
This accident comes days after another claimed 7 lives at Wabigalo in Nakasongola along Kampala – Gulu High way.
