The UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibe has paid a courtesy visit to Buganda Kingdom Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga aimed at strengthening the Kingdom support towards the fight against HIV/AIDS among the population by 2030.
In his meeting with the Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga yesterday, Sidibe noted that it’s upon the leadership of the Kingdom to help its subjects know and embrace the campaign of eliminating HIV by encouraging them to test and know their status.
Meanwhile the Katikiro emphasized that the kingdom will use its influence among its people especially men to ensure that they change the trend of HIV in the society by 2030.
