Miguel Da Costa who has been head coach at Vipers soccer club for two years has been sacked by his bosses at the Kitende based side.
In his first season, he led Vipers to a 2nd place finish in the Uganda Super league but was unfortunate as he saw his side get eliminated in the initial stages of the CAF Confederations Cup where they lost to South African club Platinum Stars over two legs.

Barely a week ago Vipers were eliminated from the CECAFA Kagame Cup at the quarter finals stage by Kenyan side Gor Mahia.
Vipers have this afternoon released a statement confirming the sacking.

“Vipers SC would like to thank Coach Da Costa for his commitment and service to the club and wishes him success in his career advancement going forward.
