Vetting due next week

The vetting of the recently appointed ministers will take place on Wednesday next week.

This has been announced by the deputy speaker of parliament Jacob Olaunyah.

In his communication, Jacob Oulanyah informed the House that the President wrote to the Speaker forwarding the nominees for vetting and approval.

Late last month, the President appointed, and reappointed member of his cabinet introducing eight new faces.

Among them is state youth minister Evelyn Anite, State for planning,David Bahati , Phelimon Mateke  the state minister for Regional Affairs and Chris Baryomunsi who was appointed state minister for health.

The legislators will appear before a twenty-man committee to prove their capabilities in doing the job that they were appointed to do.
