The Uganda people’s Congress party has fronted two candidates for the EALA parliamentary elections that are due to take place next month.
The Candidates are Chris Opoka Okumu and Isaac Ojok Anok.
While addressing journalists at the party headquarters, the party spokesperson Michael Osinde says the names of the two candidates will be forwarded to the UPC parliamentary group for the final stage of the nomination process.
Chris Opoka Okumu has been a member of EALA parliament and prominent in this parliament for moving a motion to remove the speaker from office in 2014 whereas Isaac Ojok Anok is a part time lecturer at Makerere University and he contested for the EALA elections in 2012 and lost to the former.
