Two people have been injured in the fire that gutted Crest foam factory in Ntinda this morning.

They have been identified as Steven Olupot and Joseph Balikuddembe, both employees of Crest foam.

The Deputy Chief Fire officer Hassan Kihanda says the two sustained blisters and they are receiving treatment at Mulago hospital.

Meanwhile, there were reports that five people died in the fire.

However, Kihanda says this can only be confirmed after conducting a head count of all employees.

He has also blamed the huge damage on the management of Crest foam for failing to notify the fire department in time.
